Fire Safety Visit

Class: Year 5 Year: 2024 - 2025

We were delighted to receive a visit from Runcorn Fire Station, where the firefighters spoke to us about the importance of fire safety in the home. They shared valuable tips on how to prevent fires, what to do in case of an emergency, and the importance of having working smoke alarms. One of the highlights of the visit was the chance to enter a smoke tent, giving us a realistic experience of what it might be like to navigate through a smoke-filled environment. It was an eye-opening and informative session that helped us better understand how to stay safe.
