Inspection Reports

Ofsted 2025

Our school was visited by Ofsted on March 4th and 5th, 2025.

As an ungraded inspection, the inspector was looking to assess progress since the last inspection when the school was judged as “Good”.  We were therefore absolutely delighted when the Inspector congratulated us whilst evaluating that the school has considerably improved in all areas since the last inspection.

‘There are high expectations for pupils’ academic success and behaviour. Pupils achieve well across the different subjects. Pupils behave well. They are respectful to staff, visitors and each other.’

‘This school is passionate about encouraging pupils to become curious, creative and confident learners. This desire underpins the considerable improvements that have been made to the curriculum, which is ambitious and well designed.’

The full inspection report is attached to the link below, and it is indeed something that we should all be very proud of.

At St. Clements we never stand still, and we are always looking to make further improvements that benefit our children. The inspector reported that the school accurately identifies the most important issues that need to be addressed to further improve its work.

Catholic Schools Inspection - CSI - 2026

In May 2026, the school's provision of Catholic Education and the Catholic Life of the school was inspected by the Diocese.  Since the date of the last inspection back in 2019, the school has continued to work incredibly hard to maintain both the standards of teaching and learning in RE but also to continue to place our Catholic identity firmly at the heart of everything that we do.  We are delighted to announce that the Diocesan inspectors agreed that we provide an OUTSTANDING provision for Catholic Life and Mission and provision for the Religious Education and Prayer and Liturgy were judged as GOOD. We are extremely proud of the report that says:

'Children are happy, confident and respectful to each other, knowing they are valued and cared for by the adults in their school.'

'Staff and parents speak of the school as a family with Christ at the heart of all the school's work.'
