Welcome to Year 3! 🌞📚
It's so lovely to see you all and welcome to the juniors! I can't wait to get to know you all as well as begin our school year, full of exciting opportunities to discover, develop and enjoy the inspiring content coming up.
I'm Mr McClements, and I'm excited to be your teacher this year. I am supported by the fantastic Mrs Mayers and Miss Rowles throughout the week. I believe every pupil has something amazing to offer and we’re here to help you grow and learn as well as enjoy your time in Year 3.
Starting Year 3 is an exciting time as children take the next step in their learning journey in KS2. Throughout the year, children will explore new and exciting topics, develop their skills and knowledge, and enjoy a wide range of experiences both inside and outside the classroom. We place a strong emphasis on curiosity, creativity, confidence, friendship and having fun while learning. We look forward to helping them settle into Key Stage 2, grow in confidence and make lots of happy memories along the way!

Tuesday – Ball skills
Thursday - Netball
Please come to school wearing P.E. kits on these days
Drop off and Pick up
We operate a 'Drop and Go' system in the mornings. Children can access our free breakfast club from 8:15am, entering from our main entrance or enter through our KS2 gates from 8:25 until 8:45am.
School finishes as 3:10pm, where we will dismiss children from the KS2 playground. Please remind your child to inform their teacher they can see an adult before leaving our care.
Homework - Children are to read for 5 minutes every night. We encourage juniors to start taking responsibility and writing their own comments in their diaries with supervision.
Children also have their TT Rockstars logins to have fun, compete against their peers or just simply develop their own understanding.
