Welcome to the class page for Year 3, here you will find out some information about the curriculum and class expectations.

In Year 3, we are working hard to build responsibility and resilience in our learning. We are developing independence by taking on new challenges and learning from our mistakes.

Welcome back! We hope you all had a lovely break and are ready for an exciting Summer Term.

RE: We will be exploring the themes Desert to Garden and Ends of the Earth. These topics help us think about how God brings new life and hope and also how the message of Jesus spread and what that means to live as followers today.

Maths: We will be building confidence in using money in real-life situations, telling and managing time, and understanding fractions in a practical and engaging way.

Science: Year 3 are learning about Forces and Magnets investigating how things move, what makes objects speed up or slow down, and how magnets work in the world around us.

History: We will be learning about the Romans. We will explore who they were, how they lived, and the impact they had on Britain.

PE is on Monday and Friday.

Please ensure you wear the correct PE kit to school on these days.

Forest School is on Wednesday.

Please ensure you wear appropriate clothing and also bring a spare pair of footwear to change into.
