Dear Parents and Carers,
A very warm welcome to the Year 5 class page! We’re excited to begin an exciting new half term filled with fun and engaging learning opportunities.
This half term, in Maths, we’ll be focusing on Place Value, helping the children develop a strong understanding of number and how our number system works. In Science, we’ll be exploring the fascinating topic of Earth and Space, looking at the planets, the Moon, and how day and night work. Meanwhile, in History, we’ll be travelling back in time to learn all about Ancient Greece, discovering their incredible achievements and how they’ve influenced the modern world.
Please note that PE lessons will take place every Wednesday and Friday, so children should come to school in their PE kit on both days.
Mrs Logan, Mrs Lawrence-Rimmer and I, are all passionate and driven to ensure your children have all the support that they will need on their next steps through St. Clement's.
