Reception Intake: September 2027
Parents and carers of children born between 01/09/2022 and 31/08/2023, and those families who received permission to defer their child’s admission to reception class until September 2027, are invited to make an application.
Below you will find a letter, a flyer and the Primary Booklet 2026, and a document about common Myths - these documents explain everything that you will need when making this most important decision. The Admission to Primary School Booklet 2027 and other useful information is also available below.
IMPORTANT: Parents of children currently on roll if you have any younger siblings due to start in September 2027, you still need to follow the process FULLY as each year applications have been received late from parents who assume that the sibling will automatically be allocated a place.
The deadline for applications to be received is 15th January
OPEN EVENING
We are delighted that you are interested in becoming part of our St. Clement’s family from September 2027.
Our annual Open Evening for parents/carers of pupils starting Reception in 2027 takes place on 13th October 2026.
School will be open from 3.30-5.30pm with staff available. All prospective parents/carers are welcome.
Our school also prioritises time for prospective parents (in any year group) to have individual meetings to visit the school and meet the Headteacher. These can be arranged by contacting the school office on 01928 572129.

Secondary School places for September 2027
Halton Borough Council is responsible for the administration of the admissions process. Parents and Carers must complete a preference form online at www.halton.gov.uk/schooladmissions, which will issue an e-receipt email to you.

Online applicants can login to view the outcome of their application on 1st March 2027.
Don’t leave it too late – you may miss out on the school place you want if you apply late. The deadline is 31st October 2026.
Parents and Carers of pupils from other local authorities should complete their own local authority form, but may include Halton schools as preferences on their form.
