Headteacher Message

St. Clement’s is a Catholic primary school and I am proud of our caring, Christian ethos where everyone is valued. Our vision is to help all children to grow and learn to their full potential and live out our Christian values. Those values are Love, Compassion, Forgiveness, Serving Others, Respect & Trust. We try to live these out every single day and focus on a particular one each term. We accept applications from children of all faiths and backgrounds and in the last few years, every child who wanted a place in Reception has got one. We want to work together with parents & carers, to achieve our vision and values and our door is always open. Our children are wonderful and their exceptional personal development and behaviour is a credit to the work of staff and parents/carers each day. We want them to grow into confident, independent young people, with a good education, positive attitudes and Christian values, that prepare them for future education and life today. To do this we aim to provide the highest standards of teaching, learning, care and personal development for every single child. We have high expectations and standards and a strong record of excellent results, from Reception class right through to Year 6. If you would like to know more about St. Clement's, please do contact the school office.

Our Mission Statement

Through the love of God and the person of Jesus, our aim is to develop the wholeness of everyone, striving for excellence in all that we do.

We seek to be a welcoming and caring Catholic community, respecting and accepting each other, as we journey together in love and faith.

Our Vision

Our vision is to help all children to grow and learn to their full potential and live out our Catholic values.

Our Values

Our values are Christian values taken from the Gospel story of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, The Beatitudes:

Serving Others,   Respect,   Trust

The Governing Body is the Admissions Authority and responsible for all decisions on admissions. Our normal admissions number is 30 and Reception applications are co-ordinated by the LA. In-year applications should be made directly to the school. For more information, applying for a place or our over-subscription criteria, see the Admissions Policy and In Year Admissions information.
