Topic

Our next topic in Y4 is all about the Egyptians. I would love you to design  posters, build models or create a powerpoints of any aspect of Ancient Egypt and send a photo of it to me to look at. You could find out why Egyptian history is so fascinating. You could compare the river Nile to a river in Britain and discover why even to this day the Nile is vital to Egyptians. You could look at how mummies were made; how Howard Carter discovered Tutankhamun's tomb or build a model pyramid. Be creative have fun with this amazing topic.

In Science we would have been learning about solids liquids and gases and I have put a few activities on here for you. If you have any left over Easter chocolate, you could experiment with it to see what temperature it will melt at.

There is also a new PHSE learning pack on the online safety page that you may find useful while you are having to stay at home
